| I chose many of your photos for my second-grade insect unit. The students really enjoyed seeing such close up and detailed real life photos!! You are so talented and I am glad that you are willing to share your talents with others!! I was so intreged by the insect pictures that it made me want to look at all of the other types of photos that you took also! Keep taking photos Helen!! I will also try to use some of the photos in a power point presentation to my students about ladybugs, butterflies, and frogs!! Thank you again for the beautiful photos! |

I just found you by way of researching katydids - one flew into my apartment in NYC on the 17th floor - I thought it was a grasshopper - took some photos - emailed some friends & was corrected. Seeing your photos is a delight and an inspiration. I will check out more of our site soon. The event of the Katydid landing here has delighted me - I have since released it back to nature (such as it is in the city) after a brief stay indoors. |
